Here’s how the SHC Challenge Matching Gift works

Several anonymous donors have contributed a pool of $200,000 which will be used to match gifts from new supporters, those who increase their gifts, and donors whose last gifts were made prior to January 1, 2015.

All gifts must meet the following criteria
All gifts must be restriction-free in support of the Spring Hill College Annual Fund, which includes funded scholarships.

Why are Annual Fund gifts important?
Tuition and fees are sources of income used to cover annual operating costs such as faculty and staff salaries, grounds and building maintenance, technology and utilities.

The Annual Fund supplements these revenue sources, helps meet the college’s greatest, most pressing needs and provides resources for things such as: student initiatives and programming. Learn more >>

Here’s the fine print:

  • Gifts from new donors will be matched dollar for dollar.
  • Increase your most recent gift to Spring Hill College, and the difference will count toward the match.
For example, if you gave $25 to Spring Hill College last year and give $35 today, $10 will be matched.
  • Gifts from supporters who have not given since before January 1, 2015 will be matched dollar for dollar.

If you haven’t made a gift to Spring Hill College in a while, now is the perfect time to renew your support. We, along with our challenge donors, want to show the world that the Spring Hill community continues to believe in the power of a Jesuit, liberal arts educational experience.

Not sure when or how much your last gift was?
Contact Catherine Vulevich at 251-380-2288 or cvulevich@shc.edu.
She will be happy to look it up for you.
